“La paz total es un cadáver insepulto”: Exministro Juan Fernando Cristo

Nuestro invitado de hoy es el exministro del Interior Juan Fernando Cristo. Estuvo unos meses en el gobierno de Gustavo Petro y, en ese corto tiempo, sacó adelante la ley de competencias, una reforma que aumentó los recursos que el centralismo debe transferir a los territorios, como lo ordena la Constitución del 91, pero que no se había cumplido. También fue ministro del Interior en el gobierno de Juan Manuel Santos, donde tuvo un rol clave en La Habana y luego en el Congreso para incorporar el acuerdo de paz a la Constitución en 2016. Es un liberal de raca mandraca y víctima del conflicto: su padre, un reconocido político de Norte de Santander, fue asesinado por el ELN. Hoy está en campaña —aunque no ha definido si será precandidato ni si hará parte del Frente Amplio— y enfrenta un obstáculo jurídico: su partido, En Marcha, con el que obtuvo varias curules, no tiene personería jurídica por decisión de la Sección Quinta del Consejo de Estado, que se niega a acatar un fallo de la Corte Constitucional que ordenó devolverle ese estatus.
