En medio del ruido cotidiano de la agenda pública, la aprobación de la Ley 2447, que desde comienzos de este año prohíbe sin excepciones el matrimonio infantil y fija en 18 años la edad mínima para casarse en Colombia, pasó casi inadvertida pese a tratarse de un hito para los derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes. Se trata de una norma que corrige una aberración jurídica en un país marcado por la violencia intrafamiliar y que hoy es realidad gracias al trabajo persistente de organizaciones como la Fundación Plan y al impulso de congresistas como Jennifer Pedraza, acompañada por la campaña Son niñas no esposas. De este logro histórico y de los enormes desafíos que aún persisten para transformar prácticas culturales profundamente arraigadas se hablará en este episodio del podcast con invitadas clave: una de las principales líderes de la Fundación Plan por la Niñez en Colombia, politóloga, economista y filósofa formada en la Universidad de York, con maestrías en políticas públicas y estudios latinoamericanos de la Universidad de Oxford, exsecretaria distrital de la Mujer y exalta consejera para los Derechos Humanos durante el proceso de paz, y Sharyan, una joven líder de 16 años que representa a una generación consciente de que, aunque la ley ya existe, el cambio social apenas comienza.
