Daniel Balmaceda es mi historiador de cabecera y en esta segunda visita a Aprender de Grandes me volvió a demostrar por qué.
Imaginate leer una carta de Cristóbal Colón y darte cuenta de algo que nadie más en el mundo sabe. Eso le pasó a Dani de joven: descubrió que en cierta fecha, Colón no estaba en América como todo el mundo creía, sino que ya estaba en las costas de África, terminando su regreso a Europa. Un detalle chiquito que cambió las fechas de los libros de historia. Eso nos dice algo sobre el pasado: es tan infinito e inabarcable como el futuro. Siempre hay algo nuevo para encontrar.
En esta conversación hablamos de historia argentina, del origen de las palabras que usamos todos los días, y de por qué la versión falsa de una historia muchas veces se hace más conocida que la verdadera.
