En este episodio de “Cada día, una historia”, nos metemos en la historia de Marruecos, una nación con más de mil años de historia, escenario de imperios, conquistas y una identidad que ha logrado perdurar hasta nuestros días.
¿Cómo nació el Reino de Marruecos?¿Por qué fue una pieza clave entre África y Europa?¿Y cómo consiguió conservar una identidad propia a pesar de siglos de invasiones e influencia extranjera?
Desde los pueblos amazigh (bereberes), la llegada del islam y las grandes dinastías que gobernaron el Magreb y parte de la península ibérica, hasta el protectorado francés y español en el siglo XX y su independencia en 1956… esta es una historia de comercio, cultura y resistencia.
Pero Marruecos también ha escrito páginas memorables en el deporte. Su histórica actuación en la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2022 lo convirtió en el primer país africano en alcanzar unas semifinales mundialistas, demostrando que su historia sigue escribiéndose tanto dentro como fuera de la cancha.
Porque en la historia…hay países que sobreviven al paso del tiempo…y otros… que consiguen convertir su pasado en parte de su fortaleza.
