Con el modus operandi ya reconocido, el diputado federal del Partido Verde, Benito Aguas, fue asesinado en Zongolica, Veracruz. Famoso por ser un hombre mediático y trabajar en pro de la zona serrana veracruzana, el legislador recibió disparos en el cuerpo y la cabeza lo que lo dejó sin vida casi de manera instantánea. La presidenta de la Suprema Corte dará su último informe al frente de la SCJN, pero para Arturo Zaldívar sólo querrá envolverse en un discurso emotivo sin hablar de que optó por tener una relación de confrontación con López Obradora y apostar por la derrota de Claudia Sheinbaum y Morena en las urnas. La calificó como la peor presidenta de la Corte y que se alió con la oposición para posicionarse desde una independencia que no estaba en riesgo.
A pocos días de cumplirse dos años del atentado contra Ciro Gómez Leyva, pocos avances se tienen sobre el caso. Una de las líneas sobre los responsables del ataque contra el periodista la da el columnista Héctor de Mauleón quien asegura que fue orquestado por el Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación y fue el propio Nemesio Oceguera ‘el Mencho’ quien ordenó el ataque.
Arturo Zaldívar dijo que en el caso del Ejecutivo, los registros para aspirar a jueces, magistrados y ministros no contienen errores ni inconsistencias. El coordinador de Política de la Presidencia asegura que la revisión de los registros tienen un avance del 70 por ciento y que sí cumplirán con la fecha de entrega establecida el 15 de diciembre.
