Karla es emprendedora social, empresaria, comunicadora y montañista.
Es autora de los libros “El Tercer Polo; Ascensión al Everest”, “Las 7 Cumbres”. En 1999 se convirtió en la primera latinoamericana en lograr la cima del Monte Everest por la vertiente norte y posteriormente en 2005 en la primera iberoamericana en conquistar la cumbre más alta de cada continente (LAS 7 CUMBRES).
Hoy impulsa la Fundación KW además de impartir cientos de conferencias de liderazgo empresarial y educacional.
Karla me cuenta sobre el cambio de vida que la llevó de trabajar en la oficina del Presidente a vivir una vida en la montaña, de los momentos más frustrantes y peligrosos en su carrera, de su régimen alimenticio y de cómo el comentario de una niña la hizo soñar en grande y alcanzar la cima del mundo.
