🎬 Hay películas que cuando se estrenaron parecían completamente exageradas. Mundos imposibles, inteligencias artificiales capaces de conocernos, gobiernos vigilándolo todo, pandemias globales, personas viviendo frente a una cámara las 24 horas y realidades artificiales imposibles de distinguir del mundo real.
Pero pasan los años… y algunas ya no parecen tan ficticias.
En este episodio de De Todo Un Mucho, Martha Higareda y Yordi Rosado hablan de películas que parecieron adelantarse a su tiempo y de las ideas que hoy se sienten inquietantemente cercanas a nuestra realidad.
Desde Contagion, cuya representación de una pandemia global volvió a llamar muchísimo la atención durante el COVID-19, hasta The Truman Show, que imaginó una vida convertida en entretenimiento antes de la explosión de realities, redes sociales, lives e influencers.
También hablamos de Her y la posibilidad de desarrollar vínculos emocionales con una inteligencia artificial, y de Matrix, una película cuya idea de una realidad artificial resulta cada vez más provocadora en un mundo lleno de avatares, filtros, contenido generado por IA y personas digitales que ni siquiera existen.
Además, Martha y Yordi hablan sobre vigilancia, reconocimiento facial, celulares, deepfakes y el momento cada vez más cercano en el que podría resultar extremadamente difícil distinguir un video real de uno generado artificialmente.
