Por desgracia, esta tendencia no tiene continuidad en toda la comunidad internacional, donde niñas son casadas con ancianos, o se les practica la mutilación genital por voluntad de sus propios progenitores.
Algunas de estas prácticas se mantienen por ciudadanos que viven en España pero que las concretan en viajes relámpago en sus países de origen. Les resulta muy difícil a las víctimas denunciar su situación, que les llevaría a romper con su familia, y a las fuerzas de seguridad localizar los casos para impedir la agresión.
La psiquiatra forense Blanca Navarro y la psicóloga forense Alicia Romero relatan en el libro Crímenes sexuales. Psicopatía del Delito, que ha editado Sekotia, algunas de las discriminaciones que sufren las mujeres por ser consideradas, todavía, un simple objeto.
En la crónica negra desembocan todos los ríos de la pasión: el deseo, la avaricia, los celos, la ira, el odio, el amor, la codicia, la ambición... No hay historias solo de buenos y malos. Hay relatos llenos de matices, de medias verdades, de fortalezas y de debilidades, de inocencia y de crueldad.
