On Day 60 in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, investigators are now digging into a new angle in the case: contractors, subcontractors, and day laborers who may have had access to Nancy’s home or her neighborhood. In this episode of Drop Dead Serious, Ashleigh Banfield breaks down new reporting that law enforcement is now trying to track down the many workers who may have been coming and going around the property, a process one source described as “a mess.” Ashleigh is joined by retired detective Clint Cole, who helped solve the Nancy Woodrum case, to explain how investigators approach contractor-heavy cases, why these leads can be so difficult to untangle, and why the police may have already spoken to the suspect.
