En el programa de hoy Fernando Villegas explora cómo algunas de las mayores obras del arte, la ciencia y el pensamiento nacieron de ideas sorprendentemente simples. A partir del encuentro entre Johann Sebastian Bach y Federico II de Prusia, relata cómo un breve tema musical terminó convertido en la monumental Ofrenda musical. Desde allí recorre ejemplos como Beethoven, Newton, Darwin y Einstein, mostrando cómo una observación elemental puede transformarse en una teoría o creación extraordinaria. También aborda la sucesión de Fibonacci, Euclides y el desarrollo de las matemáticas desde principios sencillos. En literatura y arte aparecen Marcel Proust, Cervantes y Monet, mientras Gaudí y Le Corbusier ilustran el mismo fenómeno en arquitectura. Finalmente, Villegas plantea que el genio no consiste solamente en tener una buena idea, sino en desarrollarla mediante trabajo, concentración, técnica y perseverancia.
