Mari Àngels Feliú, la farmacéutica de Olot, pasa cuatrocientos noventa y dos días encerrada en un zulo bajo tierra en el que ni si quiera puede ponerse de pie. Durante todo ese tiempo se suceden los errores policiales, e incluso la llegan a dar por muerta. ¿Dónde están hoy los secuestradores? ¿Qué objetivo tenían? ¿Qué falló en la investigación? ¿Qué incógnitas quedan aún por resolver?
En noviembre de 1992, Mari Àngels Feliu, una farmacéutica de Olot, fue secuestrada al salir del garaje de su casa. Lo que parecía un crimen mal planificado acabó convirtiéndose en el secuestro no terrorista más largo de la historia de España: 492 días encerrada en un zulo bajo tierra, sin poder ponerse en pie ni ver la luz del sol. En este episodio de Equipo de Investigación, se reconstruye esta pesadilla real paso a paso, con testimonios clave de los propios secuestradores, investigadores y víctimas colaterales.
El programa destapa una red de implicados insólita: policías locales del propio municipio de Olot, un carcelero que se hizo pasar por miembro de ETA, y un matrimonio que ocultó a la víctima bajo su casa durante más de un año sin que nadie lo supiera. La investigación, plagada de errores iniciales y líneas muertas, movilizó a más de 1.500 agentes y se prolongó durante seis años. La detención de los responsables no evitó que muchos de ellos quedaran en libertad antes de cumplir sus condenas completas.
El episodio profundiza en los métodos de manipulación, las condiciones inhumanas del encierro y la huella psicológica imborrable que dejó en la víctima. El relato se enriquece con grabaciones originales, reconstrucciones sonoras y entrevistas a jueces, policías, periodistas e incluso al carcelero de Mari Àngels, que aún hoy vive a pocos kilómetros de su antigua rehén. Su testimonio revela una verdad parcial, cargada de lagunas y ambigüedades que aún generan inquietud.
Más de treinta años después, muchas preguntas siguen sin respuesta: ¿Por qué se prolongó tanto el secuestro? ¿Quién más estuvo implicado? ¿Hubo un rescate pagado en secreto?
