El espacio presentado por Gloria Serra revela la existencia de un testimonio inédito que avalaría la petición de la familia de Cristina Ortiz de volver a investigar el último y controvertido episodio de su biografía.
Cuatro años después de su fallecimiento, este testigo inesperado se puso a disposición del Juzgado número 53 de Madrid y reconoce que hubo negligencia tras ser hallada Cristina gravemente herida. Admite además que “las pruebas que la Policía pudiera recabar debían de estar alteradas, ya que el inicio de la cadena de custodia había sido claramente vulnerado”.
Con la ayuda de un criminalista y de un abogado penalista, y en base a este nuevo testimonio, los Ortiz presentaron un recurso contra el auto que desestima la reapertura del caso.
Los familiares de ‘La Veneno’ consideraron que no se practicaron todas las diligencias necesarias para concluir, como señaló el médico forense en su primera autopsia, que una caída fue la causa de la muerte.
Solo veinte horas antes de ser hallada inconsciente en su casa, con un fuerte golpe en la cabeza, ‘La Veneno’ había pedido auxilio al 091 porque su pareja la quería matar. No era la primera vez que llamaba por presuntos malos tratos. La familia cuestiona que no se aplicara el protocolo de actuación correspondiente a una mujer víctima de violencia doméstica y de género.
‘Equipo de Investigación’ habla con la dueña del bar que encontró a Cristina Ortiz malherida y avisó a los servicios sanitarios. Es la primera vez que concede una entrevista a un medio de comunicación. Su versión de los hechos contradice la declaración ante la Policía del novio de ‘La Veneno’.
También rompe su silencio, veinticinco años después de su última aparición televisiva, la madre, que no se había pronunciado, hasta ahora, sobre la muerte de su hija.
