El PIB de México creció 1.4% en el segundo trimestre, su mejor dato desde 2021, pero abril cargó el trimestre completo: mayo cayó 0.4% y junio 0.1%. En Wall Street, los inversionistas le bajaron a los chips antes del reporte de Nvidia del miércoles y arrastraron los índices; solo el Dow cerró en verde. Además: la inversión extranjera rompió récord con letra chica, Bait ya recarga en Oxxo y Pew midió cuánto del internet lo escribe la IA.
En este episodio:
• SANDISK Y LA MEMORIA: SanDisk cayó 6% y suma cuatro sesiones en rojo. Ya devolvió dos tercios del 33% que subió en agosto tras el anuncio de recompra de Samsung.
• PIB: 1.4% Y QUÉ SIGNIFICA: Comercio al mayoreo +11.1%, minería 5%, agro 4.8%; manufactura fue el único sector grande en rojo. Por persona, solo 1.7% en nueve años. Banxico dejó la tasa en 6.5%.
• INVERSIÓN EXTRANJERA RÉCORD: Casi 35,000 millones de dólares en el primer semestre, 2.1% más que 2025. Pero 88.5% es reinversión de utilidades; capital nuevo fue 2,726 millones, 7.8% del total.
• INFLACIÓN Y EL HUEVO: 3.26% anual en la primera quincena de agosto. Cebolla +19.03% en dos semanas, chile serrano 8.92% y huevo 7.92%. Restaurantes y hospedaje: 6.32% anual.
• BAIT YA RECARGA EN OXXO: El operador de Walmart llega a 26.8 millones de usuarios, 17% del mercado móvil, y facturó 3,800 millones de pesos, 40% más. Ahora recarga en 24,000 Oxxo.
• CANAL DE PANAMÁ RACIONA: Por falta de lluvia bajará de 36 a 34 tránsitos diarios el 3 de septiembre y a 32 doce días después. Por ahí pasa 5% del comercio marítimo mundial.
• PEW MIDIÓ LA IA EN INTERNET: Medio millón de páginas analizadas: la marca de IA aparece en 10% del internet y en 35% de lo publicado después de ChatGPT. El guion medio se duplicó desde 2023.
• AMAZON SUBE PRECIOS: Hasta 60% en Estados Unidos el 21 de agosto en Fire TV, Echo y Kindle por costos de memoria. En México, la mayoría de sus dispositivos subieron hasta 43% el mismo día.
