29 empresas del IPC borraron 10,709 empleos en el primer trimestre: Sigma soltó 5,262, Coca-Cola FEMSA cortó 3,003 y Cemex bajó 2,917. Al mismo tiempo, las exportaciones de abril saltaron 32.6% a 72,042 mdd y la inversión extranjera directa cerró su mejor arranque histórico con 23,591 mdd. El país que recorta en el mapa corporativo es el mismo que bate récords en el exportador.
En este episodio:
● RECORTES EN EL IPC: Las 29 no financieras del índice borraron 10,709 puestos entre enero y marzo. Sigma Alimentos lidera con 5,262 despidos, casi un tercio de su plantilla en doce meses.
● LOS QUE MÁS CORTARON: Coca-Cola FEMSA eliminó 3,003 empleos. Cemex pasó de 18,671 a 15,754, un recorte de 15.62%. Carso soltó 1,544 personas de su nómina.
● LOS QUE CONTRATARON: Los súpers van en sentido contrario. Chedraui sumó 2,364 personas, La Comer 1,748 y Walmex 782 más. Lo básico resiste; la industria pesada, no.
● EL PESO Y EL ESTRECHO: El peso rompió el piso de 17.30 frente al dólar tras el acuerdo entre EE.UU. e Irán para reabrir el Estrecho de Ormuz. Acumula 9% de apreciación en el año.
● RÉCORDS DE EXPORTACIÓN: La IED del 1T llegó a 23,591 mdd, el mejor arranque histórico. Las exportaciones de abril subieron 32.6% hasta 72,042 mdd en un solo mes.
● BANORTE Y LA CNA: La Comisión Nacional Antimonopolio multó a Banorte con casi 20 millones de pesos por su alianza con Rappi en 2020. Es el primer choque entre la CNA y un banco de primer nivel en México.
● EL CEO CLONADO: Reid Hoffman, cofundador de LinkedIn, tiene un gemelo de IA entrenado con 22 años de contenido propio que ya habló en más de 70 conferencias en 74 idiomas. Predice que en diez años toda empresa con más de 50 empleados hará lo mismo.
