¿Porque nos cuesta tanto parar? / Why it’s so hard for us to stop?

In Spanish, we have several expressions to indicate that we are very busy: no doy abasto (I can't keep up), no paro (I never stop), no me da la vida (I don't have time to live), estoy hasta arriba (I'm swamped), voy de cabeza (I'm rushing around frantically)....
And although none of them convey anything truly positive (literally, *no me da la vida* means you don't have time to live), the reality is that we use them with a certain sense of pride.
It’s as if we were going to get a medal for being stressed.
In fact, if you aren't like that... people might even get suspicious.
Even though I’ve realized this, I’m finding it very hard to change my attitude or try to slow down. It’s something I haven't quite managed to do yet.
I talk about all this in today’s episode. Tell me: in your language, are there also many ways to express that you’re very busy? And remind, if you want to still learning Spanish, you can register on my website to receive my Newsletter weekly, it's HERE.
