Programa 623: OVNIs, entre la historia y el contacto

En nuestro primer programa de la 15ª temporada, apostamos fuerte, apuntando bien alto. Hablaremos de Ovnis desde dos perspectivas, la histórica y la de investigación de campo. En primer lugar, contamos con José Luis Corral, catedrático de Historia Medieval en la Universidad de Zaragoza y autor de “Ovnis en la Edad Media”, para hablarnos de una cuestión deliberadamente provocadora: ¿se observaron ovnis en esa época? Cronistas, monjes, artistas y astrónomos medievales dejaron constancia de luces, objetos resplandecientes, cruces, escudos, columnas de fuego, estrellas errantes y combates celestes. Pero los interpretaron de acuerdo con su propia mentalidad y sus creencias: como señales de Dios, advertencias, milagros, prodigios, anuncios de guerras, muertes de reyes, epidemias o catástrofes. Corral estudia lo que vieron, pero, sobre todo, cómo lo comprendieron. Ah, y no puede faltar Magonia.
En la segunda parte tendremos al investigador gallego Miguel Pedrero, autor de “Pero no lo digas…”, donde hace una reconstrucción de un fascinante caso ufológico que comienza en el verano de 1976 cuando dos primas de trece y catorce años aseguran que se encontraron con unos seres de pequeño tamaño, descritos como humanoides blancos, algo cabezones, luminosos, de aproximadamente 1,10 metros de altura y capaces de transmitir una intensa sensación de paz. Según su relato, aquellos seres volaban, las acompañaban mientras circulaban en moto y se desplazaban en una nave con forma de platillo, en la que entraron en varias ocasiones. Lo que inicialmente parecía un juego infantil acabó convirtiéndose en el comienzo de una relación que, siempre según sus protagonistas, se prolongó durante casi cincuenta años.
Marcos Carrasco analizará el extraño cuadro del pintor Sigfrido Martin Begué titulado “Máquina New Age” (1989) donde aparece el símbolo de UMMO.
Extróbula 1: Miguel Pedrero nos cuenta un suceso en el que pudo grabar cinco OVNIs en Aravaca, a las afueras de Madrid, el sábado 27 de junio de 2026, en el contexto de una investigación de campo. Le acompañaron los ufólogos Nando Domínguez y Miguel Ángel Moyano y los tres afirman haber avistado y filmado con teléfonos móviles cinco objetos no identificados a corta distancia, dos horas después de emitir el Código TUM (una secuencia de sonidos o frecuencias que actuaría como un activador o llamada para atraer el fenómeno OVNI o abrir supuestas puertas dimensionales), caso tratado también en su podcast: “Protagonistas de lo insólito”.
Extróbula 2: El libro de Miguel Pedrero posee una segunda parte titulada “Ellos siempre han estado”. En ella reúne cuarenta casos de encuentros cercanos investigados en España. Uno de ellos es el de Francisco Miñano, jefe del equipo Bravo-Alfa del Escuadrón de Vigilancia Aérea número 5 —EVA-5—, situado en la sierra de Aitana, en Alicante, ocurrido durante la madrugada del 27 al 28 de julio de 1975, en una de las instalaciones encargadas de vigilar el espacio aéreo español. Con testimonios auditivos de Miñano, iremos conociendo cómo vio un objeto que parecía pasar bruscamente de unos 85.000 pies de altitud a 40.000 pies, realizando cambios de altura a enorme velocidad. Posteriormente, el radar detectó un eco prácticamente inmóvil sobre el mar Mediterráneo. E incluso el ovni “le salvó la vida” al considerar que un rayo procedente del objeto evitó que avanzara hacia una zona de peligro situada junto a las instalaciones.
