En este episodio te resumo Te Enseñaré a Ser Rico (I Will Teach You to Be Rich), de Ramit Sethi, uno de los libros de finanzas personales más vendidos del mundo. Está escrito para Estados Unidos, con sus propios instrumentos de inversión y sus propias cuentas de jubilación, pero lo que nos llevamos son los principios: cómo decidir, cómo automatizar y cómo gastar. Y esos funcionan igual en Madrid, en Bogotá, en Puebla o en Buenos Aires.

La tesis del libro es que el problema del dinero no es que nos falte información, es que nos sobra. Nos entretenemos debatiendo minucias -qué fondo, qué tipo de interés, si es buen momento para entrar en bolsa- porque mientras debatimos no tenemos que actuar. Ramit Sethi rompe con la culpa habitual de la literatura financiera: no se trata de gastar menos, se trata de gastar mejor, sin remordimiento, mientras el resto queda resuelto en piloto automático.
