Hoy analizamos Snipd, una app que marca como debería a ser el futuro del podcasting en cuanto a las funcionalidades de los podcatchers.

Una herramienta pensada para oyentes de podast… pero que, si eres podcaster, deberías conocer sí o sí. A primera vista, parece otro reproductor de podcasts más, pero en cuanto lo pruebas ves que es algo mucho más potente, especialmente gracias a su integración con inteligencia artificial.
Puedes escuchar tus podcasts favoritos como en cualquier podcatcher, pero lo interesante empieza cuando entras en los extras: Snipd trabaja con la transcripción de cada episodio y te ofrece algo muy interesante: insights generados por IA. Por ejemplo, si en un episodio el presentador menciona 5 ideas para mejorar tu inbound marketing, Snipd te las muestra directamente como un checklist. Además te permite modificar el prompt para ajustar qué tipo de resumen quieres.
Esto permite algo que a nosotros nos parece clave: conocer el contenido antes de escucharlo. Una especie de “sneak peek” para valorar si te interesa o no antes de dedicarle tiempo. Y si eres de los que escuchan varios al día, también tienes un resumen diario en forma de widget. Muy útil.
Además, puedes crear tus propios puntos clave manualmente: haces tap en los AirPods, el reloj, el volante o cualquier otro dispositivo compatible, y se guarda ese momento como algo importante. Luego puedes exportarlo, compartirlo, o integrarlo directamente en tu app de notas: Notion, Obsidian… y todo en Markdown. ¡Ideal para los que usamos estas herramientas a diario!
Y aún hay más: Snipd detecta automáticamente los enlaces, libros o recursos que se mencionan en el episodio, separa en capítulos el contenido para que puedas ir directo a lo que te interesa, y te muestra las biografías del podcaster y de los invitados. Todo bien organizado.
¿Y si pudieras chatear con un episodio? También puedes. Le haces preguntas tipo ChatGPT y te responde en función del contenido del episodio. Cierto que esto ya lo podrías hacer copiando la transcripción en un chat de IA… pero Snipd te lo hace mucho más fácil desde la propia app.
Y si eres más de vídeo, puedes importar el audio directamente desde YouTube para aplicar todas estas funciones. Incluso puedes subir tu propio contenido, como audiolibros o archivos MP3 personales. Con lo que vemos que va mucho más allá del mundo podcast, a pesar de anunciarse como podcatcher.
El modelo de precios es sencillo: puedes usarlo gratis con hasta 2 episodios por semana, o pasarte al plan de pago por 11,99 € al mes. Si escuchas muchos podcasts o te gusta exprimir cada minuto de audio que consumes, puede valer la pena. Pero no tengo muy claro que la gente quiera pagar por este servicio. Veremos como les va en el futuro...
En resumen: Snipd no es solo un reproductor de podcasts, sino también una herramienta de productividad. Tanto si eres oyente como podcaster, te permite sacarle muchísimo más partido a cada episodio. Os recomiendo que probéis la opción gratuita con uno o dos podcasts semanales, para ver si le sacáis partido. :)
