276. El conflicto en Colombia
Descripción del Episodio
Durante más de medio siglo, Colombia fue escenario de uno de los conflictos armados más letales y complejos de la historia contemporánea, con más de 220.000 víctimas y ocho millones de desplazados.
Un conflicto que parece una enrevesada tela de araña de capas superpuestas: guerrillas de izquierda como las FARC o el ELN, paramilitares de extrema derecha, cárteles del narcotráfico, el Estado colombiano y la omnipresente sombra de Estados Unidos. Todos ellos se alían o se enfrentan según las circunstancias, tejiendo décadas de violencia que han dejado fracturas sociales profundas, concentración de la tierra y una economía ilegal sustentada en gran parte por la cocaína. Tras el acuerdo de paz de 2016, Colombia sigue buscando consolidar la presencia del Estado en territorios históricamente abandonados y desmantelar las estructuras criminales que aún persisten.
