Que descubrió el arte y las letras, saltando de la performance al papel, del papel a la radio y, desde ahí, a los escenarios que lo transformaron en el fenómeno cultural que es hoy.
Recorrió Chile y Latinoamérica interpretando sus crónicas, mientras sus libros daban vueltas por el mundo. Una vida de luces y sombras, cargada de noches de excesos que lo terminan enfrentando al cáncer que, paradójicamente, le arrebató aquello que había definido toda su obra.
Sobre esa premisa se construye Prenderse fuego: Las voces de Pedro Lemebel, una serie biográfica de seis episodios que explora sus múltiples facetas como profesor de artes, performer en Las Yeguas del Apocalipsis, locutor en Radio Tierra, militante de las disidencias, el personaje público y el escritor que convirtió la oralidad en una forma de hacer literatura.
