Real e irreal: una dicotomía incierta

Paula e Inés hablan sobre una de las dicotomías más importantes en la historia de la filosofía: lo real y lo irreal (ficticio, imaginario). ¿Se sigue sosteniendo esta distinción de manera tajante hoy en día? ¿Podemos distinguir entre lo que es real y lo que no? ¿Acaso hemos perdido cierta noción de realidad? Parten de ideas de Jean Baudrillard y Donna Haraway y reflexionan sobre cómo la dualidad real/irreal se ve cuestionada por distintos medios, formas artísticas y tendencias. En primer lugar, piensan en cómo la llegada de internet ha afectado a nuestras nociones de verdad y realidad con fenómenos como las fake news y la desinformación. ¿Estamos sumidos en una «confusión epistemológica»? También se preguntan qué papel juega la ficción en todo esto: ¿Qué poder tienen las novelas o películas para cuestionar esta dicotomía? Hablan de todo esto a través de la serie «Adolescencia» (Netflix) y los libros «El mejor de los mundos posibles», de Gabriel Ventura (sobre el fenómeno del «reality shifting»), «Oposición», de Sara Mesa (sobre la realidad burocrática) y «Un libro de mártires americanos», de Joyce Carol Oates (con el que se preguntan cómo dialogar con una persona cuya visión de la realidad es radicalmente distinta a la nuestra). También reflexionan sobre el papel del cine y la televisión a la hora de fijar relatos míticos con el ensayo «El arte de inventar la realidad», de Áurea Ortiz Villeta y la serie «La vida breve» (Movistar+). Finalmente, traen algunas reflexiones barthesianas (cómo no) para concluir y abrir otras preguntas posibles.
