En este episodio de Sofá, Manta y Crimen repasamos dos casos reales especialmente duros en los que el horror vino de personas que fingían estar mucho más cerca de ayudar que de hacer daño.
Primero hablamos de María Fernanda Benítez, una adolescente embarazada de 17 años asesinada en Paraguay por su exnovio, que no quería hacerse cargo del bebé. El caso provocó una enorme conmoción social cuando se descubrió que el chico había dejado mensajes y comentarios macabros antes del crimen, y que después intentó hacer desaparecer el cuerpo quemándolo para borrar cualquier rastro.
Después nos vamos a Chile para hablar del caso de Fernanda Maciel, desaparecida en 2018 mientras estaba embarazada de siete meses. Durante más de un año, el país entero siguió la búsqueda sin imaginar que el responsable era alguien que llevaba todo el tiempo fingiendo preocupación: su vecino, Felipe Rojas, que la asesinó y ocultó su cuerpo bajo cemento y cal a pocos metros de donde todos la buscaban.
Dos historias de true crime atravesadas por la violencia, la crueldad y esa sensación horrible de descubrir que el peligro llevaba demasiado tiempo mezclado entre la gente normal.
