La visita de la reina de Saba y la sabiduría de Salomón: La reina de Saba viaja para conocer a Salomón y queda asombrada por su inmensa riqueza y sabiduría. A pesar de ser una gobernante pagana, reconoce y alaba a Dios como la verdadera fuente del éxito de Salomón, afirmando que fue Dios quien lo estableció en el trono.
La desobediencia y caída de Salomón: A pesar de su sabiduría, Salomón desobedece las leyes divinas al acumular oro, caballos y mujeres. Llega a tener 700 esposas y 300 concubinas extranjeras que desvían su corazón hacia la idolatría, llevándolo a construir altares para dioses paganos como Moloc.
El castigo divino y la profecía de Jeroboam: Como consecuencia de la rebelión de Salomón, Dios decide dividir el reino. El profeta Ahías rompe su ropa nueva en 12 pedazos y le entrega 10 a Jeroboam, siervo de Salomón, profetizando que Dios le arrebatará 10 tribus a la descendencia del rey.
Sucesión y la soberanía de Dios sobre el trono: Tras la muerte de Salomón, su hijo Roboam asume el trono, mientras Jeroboam aguarda su momento. El episodio concluye con la reflexión de que Dios es quien verdaderamente tiene el control de quién está en el poder, utilizando a los gobernantes, buenos o malos, para cumplir sus propósitos y guiar a su pueblo al arrepentimiento.
