Hoy tenemos una entrevista muy diferente y especial con Mark Rossini y Álvaro Soto. Mark fue agente del FBI y enlace con la CIA en Alec Station, la unidad dedicada a Bin Laden. Álvaro es el periodista que ha pasado cuatro años reconstruyendo su vida en el libro "Agente Rossini".
El 5 de enero del año 2000 llegó a la CIA un cable: dos hombres vigilados desde Yemen tenían visado para entrar en Estados Unidos. Un compañero de Mark escribió el informe para avisar al FBI y la respuesta fue "please hold off". 20 meses después, esos dos hombres iban en uno de los aviones de los atentados.
25 años después del 11-S, Mark sigue viviendo con eso. En esta conversación cuenta cómo funcionaba el paso de información entre agencias, por qué cree que aquel cable no se envió y qué significa cargar cada día con un "podía haberlo evitado". Álvaro pone contexto: qué ha podido corroborar, cómo encontró a Rossini a partir de una nota del FBI y una cofradía de Málaga, y por qué el problema de este hombre nunca fue el 11-S, sino no saber decir que no.
No es una teoría de la conspiración, es literalmente lo que dicen los documentos desclasificados y el hombre que estaba allí.
