Esta es la historia de María Esperanza Castro, una mujer que vivió un verdadero infierno durante 11 años. Fue s3cuestr4d4 y aislada de su familia, obligada a permanecer encerrada en una casa bajo el dominio de una mujer que se hacía llamar la “novia del cordero”, alguien que utilizaba un supuesto poder espiritual para manipularla y mantenerla bajo control.
Durante ese largo tiempo de cautiverio, María Esperanza no solo fue víctima del aislamiento y la manipulación psicológica, sino que también se enfermó en repetidas ocasiones. A pesar de su delicado estado de salud, nunca recibió atención médica, lo que la llevó a sufrir en silencio y en condiciones precarias. Estaba completamente alejada de sus seres queridos, sin la posibilidad de comunicarse con su familia, que durante más de una década no supo nada de ella.
El relato de María Esperanza es un reflejo del dolor y la injusticia que puede causar el encierro forzado, pero también es un testimonio de resistencia y fortaleza. Después de tantos años, su regreso no solo marcó la esperanza de un reencuentro familiar, sino también la posibilidad de alzar la voz y contar lo que muchos prefieren callar.
