Ernesto Castro es filósofo, profesor universitario y ensayista. En esta conversación reflexiona sobre qué significa realmente pensar, cuál es el papel de la filosofía en una época dominada por la ciencia y la inteligencia artificial, y por qué las grandes preguntas sobre la verdad, el conocimiento o la libertad siguen estando lejos de haber quedado resueltas.
A lo largo de la charla se habla de los límites de la razón, de la utilidad de la ignorancia, de la relación entre filosofía y ciencia, del libre albedrío y de los motivos por los que creemos lo que creemos. También aborda su reciente conversión al catolicismo, el papel de la fe en el mundo contemporáneo y la posibilidad de encontrar sentido en una sociedad cada vez más secularizada.
La conversación termina con cuestiones mucho más personales: la enseñanza, la escritura, la paternidad, el éxito, el poder o la autenticidad. A través de todas ellas, Ernesto Castro propone una forma de entender la filosofía no como una disciplina académica, sino como una manera de mirar el mundo con más curiosidad y menos certezas.
