Albert Espinosa es escritor, guionista, actor y director de cine, y una voz esperanzadora incluso en tiempos de confinamiento e incertidumbre. De su larga estancia en un hospital y una burbuja que le protegía frente a los virus mientras luchaba contra el cáncer aprendió grandes lecciones de vida. Había decidido retirarse de los focos y las entrevistas para dedicarse a la escritura de libros, series y películas, pero ha hecho una excepción para compartir sus reflexiones en esta entrevista. "Volveremos con mucha energía, nos reinventaremos, con lo cual podremos crear nuevas realidades. Pienso que eso es parte de la magia que estamos viviendo en este "intermezzo", en este parar el mundo, que volveremos diferentes y lo cambiaremos todo".
"Mi padre hospitalario hablaba de una cosa muy bella, cuando yo tenía 14 años, a mí y a otros dos chavales que nos faltaba la pierna, el pulmón… Siempre nos decía que cuando saliéramos del hospital, cada año teníamos que parar el mundo una vez. Él llamaba "parar el mundo", "intermezzo", a salir del mundo para mejorarte y para mejorarlo. Y decía que cuando volvieses, el universo te premiaba, porque los que movían el mundo eran los que lo paraban".

Albert Espinosa ha vendido más de tres millones de libros en 42 países, con títulos como 'El mundo amarillo', 'Lo que te diré cuando te vuelva a ver', 'El mundo azul. Ama tu caos', 'Si tú mes dices ven lo dejo todo… pero dime ven', o el más reciente 'Lo mejor de ir es volver'.
Con su película 'Planta 4ª', dirigida por Antonio Mercero, estuvo nominado al Premio Goya, y la serie televisiva 'Pulseras rojas', ganadora de dos premios Emmy, consiguió hacer viral su historia y la de sus compañeros de hospital más allá de nuestras fronteras, llegando a emocionar a Steven Spielberg, que se encargó de la versión estadounidense.
