Hoy abrimos el archivo de la memoria para conmemorar las tres décadas de ¿Dónde está la Franja Amarilla?, el emblemático ensayo de William Ospina. En este capítulo viajamos a 1996 —un año fracturado por la crisis política y la violencia— para recordar cómo este libro no nació para narrar la barbarie, sino para hacer visible lo verdaderamente posible y lo que nos une cómo país. A través de sus páginas, Ospina nos invita a buscar la "franja amarilla" de nuestra bandera: esa hermosa metáfora que abraza nuestra biodiversidad, la sabiduría ancestral de nuestras comunidades, las culturas anfibias y la desbordante creatividad popular que late en nuestra música y literatura. A 30 años de su publicación, este episodio celebra al autor y al libro que apostaron a que el reconocimiento del otro es el único camino posible para construir un verdadero proyecto nacional colectivo en nuestro país.
