Ana María Botero llevaba 17 años construyendo Avemaría, una de las marcas de bisutería más reconocidas de Colombia. Desde afuera todo funcionaba. Por dentro, su empresa tenía una rotación gigante y su matrimonio se estaba rompiendo sin ella darse cuenta.


Después de participar en nuestro debate de salud mental con el psicólogo Efrén Martínez, y de vivir un viaje express a China luego de su embarazo, comenzó un proceso de transformación. Este episodio es lo que pasó después. Cómo desarmó la estructura que había construido, disolvió la junta directiva, decidió no contratar más gerentes y volvió a levantar la compañía desde los rangos medios. Es la conversación más honesta que hemos tenido sobre lo que le cuesta a un fundador el modelo de "matarse trabajando".
