Hay una creencia muy extendida: "Cuando tenga más nivel de español, hablaré mejor"
Pero, ¿y si el bloqueo no es lingüístico sino mental?. El progreso viene de usar el idioma, no de acumular teoría.

"I understand Spanish better than I can speak it."
It's a phrase I've heard hundreds of times, and several of you have mentioned it to me via email in the last few days. "I want to participate in the language immersion programme, but I'm not sure of my level. I understand Spanish better than I can speak it."
There's a widespread belief that 'when I improve my Spanish, I'll speak it better'.
But what if the problem is mental rather than linguistic? Progress is achieved by using the language, not by accumulating theory.
