Ya estamos oficialmente en verano, y la gran mayoría de mis alumnos se toman un descanso para viajar, ver a la familia, estar con sus hijos.... Yo hago lo mismo, me encanta el verano.
Desconectar y descansar es MUY importante para la cabeza, para el cuerpo, para todo.... pero si hablamos de los idiomas, cuidado con desconectar al 100% durante un largo periodo de tiempo, porque como ya te he dicho en otras ocasiones, los idiomas no son como andar en bici, los idiomas se olvidan.
Pero, no es incompatible descansar y disfrutar, con aprender.
Por eso, en el episodio del podcast de hoy, el último de la temporada, te doy las gracias y también algunos tips para que no olvides tu español este verano.

Summer has officially arrived, and most of my students are taking a break to travel, visit family and spend time with their children. I do the same — I love summer!
Disconnecting and resting is very important for the mind and body, but be careful not to disconnect completely from languages for a long period of time. As I've said before, languages aren't like riding a bike; they can be forgotten.
Resting and enjoying yourself doesn't have to mean stopping learning.
