En la sección ‘Traficantes de Palabras’ del programa 'Herrera en COPE', el profesor de la Universidad CEU San Pablo, Armando Zerolo, ha analizado junto a Jorge Bustos la reciente visita de Pedro Sánchez al Vaticano. Según Zerolo, la jornada ha estado marcada por un giro inesperado: mientras Sánchez se reunía con el Papa Francisco, la Unidad Central Operativa (UCO) de la Guardia Civil registraba la sede del PSOE en Ferraz.
El gabinete de presidencia había diseñado una jugada maestra de comunicación, según ha explicado Zerolo. El objetivo era obtener una foto que consolidara la imagen de Pedro Sánchez como “el presidente blanco, el adalid de la paz y la justicia en un mundo cruel”. La Moncloa esperaba replicar el impacto mediático de imágenes como la de Yolanda Díaz con Francisco.
