La actual crisis en el Golfo Pérsico, con el bloqueo del estrecho de Ormuz, está generando una creciente incertidumbre en los mercados energéticos. Sin embargo, la situación actual presenta diferencias clave con la crisis de 2022 provocada por la invasión de Ucrania. Así lo ha explicado el experto en energía y materias primas Javier Blas, en el programa 'Herrera en COPE' donde ha señalado que, aunque es pronto para determinar su alcance, el impacto actual se concentra en el petróleo.
Según Blas, la principal diferencia radica en el alcance. Mientras que la crisis de 2022 afectó a "todas las materias primas energéticas, afectó al petróleo, al gas, al carbón y, sobre todo, a la electricidad", la actual "está afectando sobre todo al petróleo, un poco al gas y prácticamente nada al carbón y a la electricidad".
