El Gobierno ha presentado un nuevo plan de vivienda para el periodo 2026-2030, con el que busca atajar el que se ha convertido en el principal problema para los españoles desde hace dos años. El plan llega en un contexto de subida de precios superior al 14% en lo que va de año. La inversión total anunciada asciende a 7.000 millones de euros, de los cuales el Estado aportará 4.200 millones y las comunidades autónomas deberán cubrir los 2.800 millones restantes.
El modelo de financiación establece que las comunidades autónomas tendrán que asumir el 40% de la factura para recibir el 60% restante del Estado. Sin embargo, para facilitar la transición, el Ministerio de la Vivienda asumirá el coste total durante el primer año, dando tiempo a las autonomías a adaptar sus presupuestos. La adhesión al plan será voluntaria para las comunidades, que podrán decidir si se suman o no en el ejercicio de sus competencias.
