¿Eres introvertido o extrovertido? Y más importante todavía… ¿eso importa para aprender inglés?
Buena pregunta. Porque mucha gente piensa que si eres introvertido, aprender a hablar inglés va a ser más difícil. Pero… ¿es realmente así?
Bueno, voy a contarles un secreto: yo soy extremadamente introvertido. En la escuela, casi nunca hablaba con otras personas. Era muy tímido; prefería pasar tiempo con un libro o caminando en la naturaleza en vez de ir a una fiesta o pasar tiempo con un grupo de personas.
Y eso es difícil de creer ahora, porque llevamos más de diez años enseñando inglés y ¡hablando con miles de estudiantes!
Exacto. ¡Y aprendiendo muchos idiomas por medio de la conversación también! Pero para llegar a eso, tuve que practicar cosas que, honestamente, iban en contra de mi personalidad natural.
