
L'Arrabassada #64 - El caos de mobilitat (amb la Nel·la Saborit)

Fa uns 10 mesos vam dedicar un episodi exclusivament a parlar de Rodalies perquè pensàvem que el transport ferroviari interurbà de Catalunya havia tocat fons: durant 78 dies dels primers 90 dies de l’any passat hi va haver incidències de tota mena a Rodalies, o el que és el mateix, el servei va funcionar correctament només un 15% dels dies. Clarament ens equivocàvem pensant que havíem tocat fons. Els catalans sempre podem ser una mica més humiliats, podem fer més el ridícul i Rodalies sempre pot funcionar una mica pitjor. Després de l’accident del passat 20 de gener, quan va descarrilar un tren a Gelida provocant una m0rt i 37 ferits, el transport ferroviari a Catalunya viu un dels seus pitjors col·lapses. El tractament colonial pel que fa a inversions i infraestructures és més visible que mai. Durant dos dies no va circular ni un tren a tot el país i les afectacions ja fa més de dues setmanes que s’allarguen, incloent-hi retards infinits, caigudes del servei, línies tallades, busos alternatius per carretera i una davallada en la velocitat de circulació generalitzada. Per si això era poc, a més, l’AP-7, l’autopista més important de tot l’Estat, també fa dues setmanes que està tallada i el col·lapse també és encara més visible a les carreteres.
Moure’s al voltant de l’Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona és tan difícil com ser milionari als Estats Units i no aparèixer a la llista Epstein, de la mateixa forma que és també difícil moure’s per tot el país si fas servir la Renfe. Per aquest motiu, aprofitant el caos que vivim a Catalunya, avui parlem de mobilitat, també més enllà de Rodalies. El tractament que rebem per part de Renfe i Adif és colonial? La situació dels trens aquí és equiparable a la d’altres països d’Europa? Per què s’ha prioritzat invertir en alta velocitat? Com podem promoure la mobilitat sostenible i reduir l’ús del cotxe amb aquest desgavell que tenim muntat? Tenim el transport públic adaptat a l’augment demogràfic que hem viscut en els últims anys?
De tot això i molt més parlarem amb la nostra convidada d’avui, la persona que posarà seny entre nosaltres, un grup de tres homes que repeteixen eslògans que han vist per Twitter amb una copa de vi a la mà. Ella és enginyera civil i és especialista en mobilitat, urbanisme i logística. Va cursar el màster en sistemes intel·ligents del transport, justament el que no tenim aquí, i actualment treballa a l’Autoritat del Transport Metropolità. Per cert, també és valenciana i de les bones.
A més, avui l’Iñaki ens portarà de nou la Cadena COPE a les nostres orelles, el Marc trucarà al Ministeri de Transports per demanar explicacions i l'Oriol farà una mica de periodisme d’investigació, que d’alguna manera ha de justificar els quatre anys de carrera que va fotre.
