¿Pinacotecas, museos de arte, arqueológicos, antropológicos o de Ciencias Naturales nos muestran todas sus piezas? ¿Qué es lo que se oculta en los sótanos y los almacenes de muchos de esos museos? ¿Es por falta de espacio o porque son cuadros, piezas o artefactos incómodos?
Nuestro invitado, el historiador del arte Raúl Alonso Sáez, aclarará muchas de nuestras dudas y nos hablará específicamente de piezas efímeras como la invocación satánica que se hizo delante de “El aquelarre” de Goya en el Museo del Prado, o bien de un extraño traje ñáñigo en el Museo de América o de los 3.000 vidrios de la fachada del MUSAC de León.
Marcos Carrasco hablará de los Gabinetes Secretos de algunos museos, cuyo contenido fue durante mucho tiempo retirado de los ojos del público por su supuesto contenido escandalizador. David Sentinella nos pondrá al día de la normativa jurídica que existe sobre la polémica exhibición de restos humanos en museos y exposiciones, sean momias o cabezas reducidas. Carlos Canales indagará sobre esas exhibiciones rituales de cráneos humanos que se hicieron en la antigüedad, más como manifestaciones del ego que del arte. Maese Cuesta sobre yacimientos paleontológicos que han sido enterrados en las riberas del Manzanares, el Jarama y otros ríos, para preservar su estudio futuro y nos cantará una vieja canción andina. Jesús Callejo hará un repaso por esos objetos arqueológicos raros (algunos considerados “ooparts”) que no se muestran al corresponder a piezas que obligan a reescribir la historia. Y terminará con uno de sus cuentos cuya moraleja, esta vez, estará “oculta”…
