Hoy Escobulandia se convierte en Escobutaberna con nuestra invitada, la antropóloga Federica Marzioni, experta en diseño y gestión de proyectos, quien nos adentrará en la antropología de un bar como espacio-frontera que permite relaciones frontales: el bar como terreno "liminal" en los rituales de paso y en la generación de "communitas" por repentinas solidaridades. El bar a veces es receptáculo y emisor de sociabilidad, que posee una metodología y experiencias de investigación que ella ha llevado a cabo sobre multitud de rituales y gestos que hacen del espacio-bar un escenario litúrgico. Hablaremos de bares y tabernas en la historia y en la geografía humana, así como de ciertas películas donde la barra tiene su protagonismo.

Jorge Guerra se fijará en la influencia que los bares ejercieron en Enrique Jardiel Poncela para escribir sus novelas y obras de teatro. Además, junto con David Sentinella, hará un diálogo en el que Jardiel y Ramón del Valle-Inclán entablarán una animada conversación. No pueden faltar otro de los grandes tabernarios como fue Ramón Gómez de la Serna, creador de greguerías, que Jorge ha actualizado.

Por su parte, el profesor Miguel Salas nos llevará a Inglaterra para referirse al pub Eagle and Child, en Oxford, que frecuentaban J.R.R. Tolkien y C.S. Lewis, entre otros Inklings, y donde leían pasajes del Silmarillion o Las crónicas de Narnia. Y, por supuesto, terminaremos con uno de sus cuentos bífidos, en esta ocasión titulado “metro cuadrado”.
