En este episodio resumo Cuatro Mil Semanas (Four Thousand Weeks, 2021), de Oliver Burkeman, periodista británico que pasó años obsesionado con los sistemas de productividad hasta que, sentado en un banco del parque, tuvo la claridad que lo cambió todo: nada de lo que había probado iba a funcionar nunca. Y esa rendición fue su mayor liberación.
Si vives hasta los 80 años habrás vivido unas 4.000 semanas. Una cifra de cuatro dígitos. Burkeman parte de ahí para desmontar el mito central de nuestra época: que si somos más eficientes, si optimizamos más, si apretamos más, algún día llegaremos al fondo de la bandeja y por fin descansaremos. No va a pasar. Y esa es, paradójicamente, la mejor noticia que puedes escuchar.
