Hoy hablamos de Amazon KDP, la mejor herramienta y plataforma para autopublicar y vender libros tanto físicos como digitales.

En el episodio de hoy hablaremos sobre Amazon KDP, la gran herramienta de autopublicación. Esta plataforma nos permite publicar nuestros propios libros tanto en formato digital como en físico.
Una vez que subimos nuestro libro, estará disponible en menos de 72 horas. Además, Amazon KDP cuenta con una membresía llamada Kindle Unlimited, que nos permite recibir regalías por cada página leída de los lectores que los han alquilado.
Si preferimos vender los libros físicos podemos recibir hasta un 60% de royalties, ya sea en tapa blanda o dura; mientras que en los libros digitales es hasta un 70%. Es importante tener en cuenta que también debemos restar el coste de impresión y envío.
El funcionamiento de Amazon KDP es bastante sencillo. Solo necesitamos registrarnos, subir nuestro manuscrito, y en el caso de los libros físicos, maquetar adecuadamente la portada, el lomo y la contraportada. Después, podemos detallar la información del libro, como el título, descripción, autor (también podemos usar un seudónimo), los derechos de publicación, las categorías, entre otros datos. También podremos seleccionar la fecha de publicación y el precio del libro.
