253. La crisis de la vivienda en España, un problema global

Buscar una vivienda en España se ha convertido en una de las experiencias más frustrantes del presente: los precios no paran de subir y los sueldos no siguen el ritmo.
El acceso a la vivienda es hoy una de las mayores preocupaciones de los españoles, pero este problema no es exclusivo de nuestro país: afecta a toda Europa y tiene causas que van mucho más allá del simple desajuste entre oferta y demanda. En este episodio analizamos por qué nos hemos metido en esta crisis: desde las políticas del franquismo y la burbuja inmobiliaria, pasando por el boom del turismo y los pisos turísticos, la irrupción de los fondos de inversión, los profundos cambios demográficos que están transformando nuestras sociedades o el encarecimiento de la construcción. Entender la complejidad de este problema es el primer paso para saber qué soluciones son posibles, y cuáles no.
