After that, Kylie debuts a brand new edition of “Can I Be Honest?” where she explains how no one tells moms about the small joys they have to put on hold when their kids are little like “sitting down,” “giving people your undivided attention” and “watching shows you actually want to watch” (5:55).
Kylie is then joined by Grammy-winning superstar Ciara (14:22)! They catch up after spending Saturday together at the Gotham FC soccer game and the importance of women lifting women! Kylie then reveals the soccer game was actually NOT the first time she and Ciara met… (16:30).
Then, Kylie asks Ciara about her new album CiCi out August 22nd! She reveals some special news about the album as well as her favorite track (18:40). Kylie then throws the conversation back to 2004 to ask Ciara about the original title of her hit song “Goodies” and what her friendship with Missy Elliott means to her (21:17).
Kylie and Ciara also bond over being NFL wives and their new ability to dislike the Cowboys together as NFC East rivals (24:40)! Ciara talks about her family’s move to New York for Russell Wilson’s new team, as well as how she manages the challenging schedule of an NFL player (27:35).
Also, Kylie asks Ciara about her and Russell Wilson’s impressive matchmaking abilities, particularly about how they set up Russell’s former teammate DK Metcalf with his now fiancée Normani (33:01). Ciara gives Kylie tips on how to be a matchmaker for the next time her friends ask to be set up with someone.
Kylie and Ciara also talk about motherhood and their postpartum bodies, highlighting the importance of appreciating their bodies for growing tiny humans and embracing the changes that come with that (38:37).
