Kylie & Mandy Moore on Princess Diaries 3, ‘This Is Us’ Mom Hacks & Banning “Bouncing Back” | Ep. 27
Descripción del Episodio
Kylie’s back for a brand new episode of Not Gonna Lie and starts things off by responding to some of the Real Ones’ top feedback on the new NGL merch (1:45), including whether the shirts should come with stains already on them from the Kelce girls and if we should offer special green and red colored shirts during the NFL season?
Kylie then kicks off a hefty “Doomscroll of the Week” beginning with her brutally honest thoughts on the viral “how many likes” trend on TikTok (4:34). It started somewhat innocently with people asking their partners for designer bags and puppies, but Kylie is questioning how some of us are out here making major life decisions based on social media likes?!
Also, Kylie reacts to an adorable clip of a toddler referring to his dad as “babe” and shares the funniest things the girls have called her and Jason over the years (6:55). Plus, Kylie responds to Ilona Maher’s latest take on the phrase “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” with foods that “taste better than skinny” (10:22) as well as other phrases that need to be banned like “bouncing back after pregnancy" (13:45).
Then, Kylie is joined by actress, singer and millennial icon Mandy Moore (17:00)! Kylie shares the latest on the Kelce cat saga with Mandy who had some cat convincing of her own to do with her husband (18:07). She also sees how many Princess Diaries questions she can ask Mandy, including any intel she may have on Princess Diaries 3 (20:03).
After that, Kylie asks Mandy about her memorable 90s style, butterfly clips, choker necklaces and all (22:10). Mandy also talks about the times she dyed her eyebrows blonde and used red eyeliner in the early 2000s.
Kylie and Mandy also talk about some of her biggest acting roles in “A Walk To Remember” and “This Is Us” where she also learned how to change a diaper and swaddle a baby for the first time on set (27:58).
Then, Kylie and Mandy talk some more about motherhood, including whether or not Mandy got a lot of unsolicited opinions on having her third baby at 40 (32:40), the most humbling things their kids have said to them lately and if 0-1 kids is still definitely the toughest transition (35:35).
Lastly, Kylie dug up an old article Mandy did with Seventeen Magazine from 2003 where she listed “60 Things I Want To Do Before I’m 30” (37:40) and quizzes her on some of the most ridiculous things on the list, including if she’s “visited space” or “seen a ghost.”
Make sure you tune into More Sh*t Monday on the Not Gonna Lie YouTube channel for more exclusive clips from Kylie’s longer conversation with Mandy Moore!

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History
By shows
In "Hardcore History" journalist and broadcaster Dan Carlin takes his "Martian", unorthodox way of thinking and applies it to the past. Was Alexander the Great as bad a person as Adolf Hitler? What would Apaches with modern weapons be like? Will our modern civilization ever fall like civilizations from past eras? This isn't academic history (and Carlin isn't a historian) but the podcast's unique blend of high drama, masterful narration and Twilight Zone-style twists has entertained millions of listeners.
