Descripción del Episodio

Kylie’s back with a special holiday episode of Not Gonna Lie brought to you by Amazon! She starts things off by celebrating the 1 Year Anniversary of NGL (00:25)! Shout out to the Real Ones for tuning in each and every week. Kylie then gives us a few announcements, including brand new merch in honor of her new series FAFO (3:49). Speaking of, make sure to watch Kylie meet the coolest animals at the Philadelphia Zoo right on our YouTube channel!

Then, in the holiday edition of “Can I Be Honest?” Kylie reminds the Real Ones about the Kelce family’s Elf on the Shelf M&My and why she’s such a deadbeat (7:30). Kylie gets into the ideas she has for the elf this year and also has a plea for all parents.

After that, Kylie gets right into “Doomscroll of the Week” where she first reacts to a shoutout from Judy of Judy’s Family Café TikTok fame (12:45)! She also checks out a viral pizza order left by a husband for his very pregnant wife and then weighs in with how mean she was as a pregnant woman and her most obscure craving (13:50). Lastly, Kylie reminisces on an all-time Vine about a little boy opening an avocado as a gift and then discusses her brutally honest thoughts about opening gifts in front of other people (17:45). Spoiler alert: she doesn’t feel great about it!

Kylie is then joined by five-time Grammy winner and Christmas music legend Michael Bublé (24:20) to talk about the holiday season, Jason’s Christmas album with his Eagles teammates, Michael’s favorite Christmas song to perform and his take on Christmas music being played in June (29:30).

Michael also talks to Kylie about his obsession with fantasy football and how his wife feels about his passion for the “sport" (34:40). Michael asks Kylie for her thoughts on fantasy football and he also shares how his love for the game has truly impacted his life! Kylie then asks Michael about his cohosts on The Voice and what it's like being a coach vs. a judge (41:10).

As NGL’s first dad guest apart from Jason and Ed Sheeran, Kylie then asks Michael about fatherhood and what it’s been like raising four kids and the differences between his boys and his girls (45:48). Michael also shares the best piece of fatherhood advice he’s ever received.

Lastly, Kylie asks Michael about one of the most viral clips of him of all time where he’s shocked after bringing a fan on stage at one of his concerts (54:04).

Make sure you tune into More Sh*t Monday on the Not Gonna Lie YouTube channel for even more exclusive clips from Kylie’s longer conversation with Michaell! And while you’re there, check out our Philadelphia Zoo episode of FAFO!

The Last 12 Weeks

The Last 12 Weeks

By shows

In 1992, David Wood was convicted of murdering young women and girls and burying them in the desert outside El Paso, earning him the nickname the Desert Killer. More than 30 years later, his lawyers have one last chance to argue his innocence and stop his execution. “The Last 12 Weeks” follows a team of capital defense lawyers as they try to save their client’s life. The series, produced by Serial Productions and The New York Times in collaboration with The Marshall Project, focuses on the high stakes and at times bizarre work involved in trying to halt an execution. With an extraordinary level of access to a capital case in its final stretch, the longtime death penalty reporter Maurice Chammah takes listeners into the room with the lawyers as the clock ticks down. Maurice and Alvin Melathe, a producer, follow members of the defense team as they look for alternate suspects, try to find new evidence to poke holes in the case, and track down hard-to-find witnesses. In the end, will the lawyers’ efforts be enough to persuade a deeply skeptical court system — and stop an execution three decades in the making? “The Last 12 Weeks.” A five-part series … on a deadline.
