Kylie & Zooey Deschanel on New Girl Celeb Cameos, Cat Dad Partners & Worst Kid Eating Habits | Ep. 48
Descripción del Episodio
Kylie’s back with a brand new episode of Not Gonna Lie brought to you by Olipop! She kicks things off by explaining her favorite way to spend some “nobody needs me time” which leads us to a hilarious story about a new Wyatt “hack.” We then get into Places Kylie Has *Some* Business Being where Kylie reveals her strategic plan to dress like a dirtball most of the time so people are impressed when she puts on a blazer.
Then, in “Doomscroll of the Week,” Kylie weighs in on the viral clip from The Other Podcast about couples arguing, commenting on why her husband was oddly quiet during that segment… She also reads some more comment section gold on a cooking video and shares some of the girls’ most ridiculous eating habits. Kylie also shouts out a barbershop called The Gifted Event for providing free haircuts for families with neurodivergent children.
After that, Kylie talks about the only type of gift opening occasion she does approve of: White Elephants. She gets honest about doing a white elephant gift exchange each year with the Eagles wives and girlfriends.
Kylie is then joined by actress Zooey Deschanel whom she absolutely loves because of her yearly “New Girl” binge. Kylie first asks Zooey about working on Elf, if her kids have seen the movie, being blonde in the role of Jovie and blending in with hair and makeup. Kylie and Zooey also talk about Zooey’s new holiday romcom “Merv” and what it was like to work with an adorable and trained set dog. Zooey and Kylie also get into what they love about holiday themed romantic comedies.
Then, Kylie the New Girl superfan really comes out as she asks Zooey everything she’s wanted to know about her favorite show. They talk about their favorite episodes, the coolest celebrity guest starring moments and the funniest bloopers. Kylie and Zooey then play a hilarious game of New Girl Trivia: Superfan vs. the literal STAR of the show, where Zooey reveals even more insider facts.
Lastly, Kylie finds a way to try and recruit Zooey to become a Philadelphia Eagles fan and teaches her the ways of the Birds.
Make sure you tune into More Sh*t Monday on the Not Gonna Lie YouTube channel for even more exclusive clips from Kylie’s longer conversation with Zooey!

The Last 12 Weeks
By shows
In 1992, David Wood was convicted of murdering young women and girls and burying them in the desert outside El Paso, earning him the nickname the Desert Killer. More than 30 years later, his lawyers have one last chance to argue his innocence and stop his execution. “The Last 12 Weeks” follows a team of capital defense lawyers as they try to save their client’s life. The series, produced by Serial Productions and The New York Times in collaboration with The Marshall Project, focuses on the high stakes and at times bizarre work involved in trying to halt an execution. With an extraordinary level of access to a capital case in its final stretch, the longtime death penalty reporter Maurice Chammah takes listeners into the room with the lawyers as the clock ticks down. Maurice and Alvin Melathe, a producer, follow members of the defense team as they look for alternate suspects, try to find new evidence to poke holes in the case, and track down hard-to-find witnesses. In the end, will the lawyers’ efforts be enough to persuade a deeply skeptical court system — and stop an execution three decades in the making? “The Last 12 Weeks.” A five-part series … on a deadline.
