José lleva 10 años en el Reclusorio Oriente con un apodo que le ganó desde niño: Winnie. Creció sin su mamá, con un papá que después también se lo descuidó y encontró en las calles y el fútbol su forma de sobrevivir. A los 25 años llegó al reclusorio por una riña con su primo. Su papá murió mientras él estaba preso y no pudo despedirse.
