On December 8, 2022, after serving 25 years in prison for a crime they did not commit, Lee Clark and Cain Joshua Storey were exonerated. Newly discovered evidence found during season one of Proof called the State’s case into question, and a Floyd County Prosecutor and Judge agreed their convictions should be overturned. Life on the outside hasn’t been easy for Lee and Josh but every day they are thankful for their freedom.
