¿Es el enamoramiento un estado de locura transitorio? Qué pasa exactamente en nuestro cerebro cuando nos enamoramos? En este episodio hablamos sobre sobre esto, pero también sobre el amor, el desamor, la infidelidad e incluso el papel de nuestros padres en las relaciones que establecemos.

¿Podemos estar enamorados para siempre? ¿Cómo evoluciona el amor con el tiempo? Según los estudios de Helen Fisher es importante distinguir entre el estado de enamoramiento, el apego o vínculo que establecemos en el amor más tranquilo, y el instinto sexual.

¿Hay alguna ventaja evolutiva en tener una única pareja para toda la vida? ¿Realmente es algo innato o un condicionamiento social? ¿Por qué somos infieles? ¿Por qué nos enamoramos de unas personas y no de otras? Qué difícil resulta definir la "química que sentimos en las conexiones con algunas personas.

Hablamos también del concepto de "amor líquido" o "relaciones líquidas" del filósofo Zygmunt Bauman y del impacto de las redes sociales y la era digital en las relaciones que establecemos hoy en día. Finalmente, terminamos hablando del desamor, por qué duele tanto y cómo podemos hacer frente a ese dolor.
