En este episodio conversamos con María Bolio, creadora de contenido, cantante y parte del exitoso podcast "Seis de Copas", quien nos comparte su historia de vulnerabilidad y resiliencia que la ha convertido en la mujer que es hoy.
María creció en la Ciudad de México en un entorno familiar amoroso pero marcado por el divorcio de sus padres, algo que le enseñó desde muy joven una perspectiva diferente sobre el amor. Sin embargo, desarrollarse físicamente antes que las demás niñas la llevó a enfrentar una dolorosa sexualización temprana, sembrando en ella un profundo sentimiento de no pertenecer y de sentirse ajena a su entorno.
Durante su infancia y adolescencia, se enfrentó a batallas silenciosas y sumamente complejas. Luchó contra una fuerte depresión y trastornos de la conducta alimentaria desde los 10 años. Buscando un escape y un reinicio, se fue a estudiar a un internado en Estados Unidos, donde a los 14 años vivió el momento más oscuro de su historia. Fue en esa etapa tan difícil donde comenzó un largo proceso de reconstrucción y entendimiento personal.
Con el paso del tiempo, a través de un viaje transformador a Canadá y la determinación de tomar las riendas de su vida terminando la preparatoria de forma abierta, María empezó a recuperar su voz. Comenzó a crear contenido en redes sociales y a perseguir su verdadera vocación: la música. Estudió producción musical y, eventualmente, encontró un refugio invaluable de contención, validación y apoyo incondicional en su grupo de amigas de "Seis de Copas".
A lo largo de la conversación reflexionamos sobre la vital importancia de la salud mental, el acompañamiento familiar activo, el peligro de minimizar las emociones en la adolescencia y el verdadero significado del amor: comprender que no necesitamos estar "completos" o en nuestro mejor momento para merecer ser amados.
