Todos queremos ganarle al mercado, pero muy pocos lo logran. ¿Es falta de habilidad, mala suerte o simplemente que los mercados ya son demasiado eficientes? En este episodio de Dinero Más Inteligente, Valeria Ovalle, economista en GBM, y Juan Carlos Herrera, Chief of Advisory, explican de manera clara qué es realmente “el mercado”, cómo se forman los precios y por qué la información disponible se descuenta casi al instante.


También analizan por qué la competencia entre inversionistas hace que los mercados sean más eficientes, cómo distinguir —si es que se puede— entre suerte y habilidad, y por qué casos como Warren Buffett son la excepción y no la regla. Además, revisan qué papel juega la inteligencia artificial en esta nueva etapa del mercado, si estamos cerca de una burbuja tecnológica y cómo entender valuaciones extremas como las de Tesla o empresas de semiconductores.


La conclusión es contundente: no necesitas ganarle al mercado para tener buenos rendimientos. Lo que sí necesitas es diversificación, consistencia y un plan que alinee tus inversiones con tus objetivos, no con predicciones sobre lo que hará el mercado mañana.
